Overview
A graphical representation how OpenAGPS works.
AGPS has three major components, they are all needed to provide the full service.
- A source for current satellite data.
- A collecting system where the satellite data is send to.
- A providing system, which will give the satellite data to devices which request that data.
In OpenAGPS these components are implemented by these projects:
- esp32-c3-ublox contains the software for devices that collect satellite data
- porygon takes the data from collectors for further processing
- supl-server provides the data by the common SUPL-Protocol which is used by most mobile devices.
To make your life easer we plan to group porygon and supl-server together, and a device connected to the supl-server should in theory also be able to provide it's data back to the system.
Disclaimer: This project is still in development and not everything you find here will work as desired yet.
